Low-eyebrowed, fierce-looking American character actor with flowing grey hair who built a whole mid-life career from playing monsters and villains in chillers and thrillers. More than 50 film appearances include those in The Genius (1993), Faith (1997), Backgammon (2001), All Souls Day (2004), The Works (2005), The Black Door (2006), Morning Glory (2007), Trickery Mimicry (2008), Klikt (2009), (2010), Sebastian (2011), Big Bad Bugs (2012), Dark Splinter (2013), Now Hiring (2014), A Blood Story (2015), Bedevilled (2016), Cautionary Tales (2019), Boogey-Man (2020) and Average Joe (2021), his last. He died from pancreatric cancer.
