Perma-tanned, wide-mouthed, silkily blonde American actress, pin-up and later fitness guru, whose starring roles were mostly in TV series. Films include Bullitt (1968), Daddy's Gone a-Hunting (1969), Fools (1970), American Graffiti (1973), Magnum Force (1973), Billy Jack Goes to Washington (1977), Yesterday's Hero (1979), Nothing Personal (1980), then almost 50 episodes of She's the Sheriff before Serial Mom (1994), The Nutty Professor (1996), Love-Struck 91997), The Darklings (1999) and Say It Isn't So (2001), her last. Born Suzanne Mahoney, she succumbed to breast cancer on the eve of her 77th birthday, survived by Alan, her (second) husband of 46 years.
