Dark-haired, bespectacled American 'insult' comedian, a fixture at Las Vegas nightclubs for several decades, where few prominent figures escaped Cooper's waspish tongue. Born Pasquale Caputo, the Brooklyn-born Cooper also cropped up in a few films as he reached his fifties: Uncle Scam (1980), Charlie and the Great Balloon Chase (1981), Fighting Back (1982), Silent Predator (1996), Code of Ethics (1998), Analyze This (1999), The Boys Behind the Desk (2000), Ankle Bracelet (2001), This Thing of Ours (2002) and Analyze That (2002), his last. His (second) wife, singer Patti Prince, died in 2005.
