Balding, bearded, brown-haired Swedish-born character actor, long in America and still best recalled for one of his earlier roles, as the disillusioned German World War I pilot in The Great Waldo Pepper (1975). Born Bo Rosenqvist, his other credits include A Baltic Tragedy (1969), The Headless Eyes (1971), The Day the Clown Cried (1972), Around the World With Fanny Hill (1974), Russian Roulette (1975), Misfire (1977), Shoot the Sun Down (1978), Meteor (1979), Raise the Titanic (1980), Testet (1987), Late for Dinner (1991), Zorn (1994), Back to Even (1998) and Strawberries With Warm Milk (2001), his last feature, before embarking on a series of short films that began with A Feeling of Love in 2007 and ended with The Light Dances Across the Sky in 2012. He returned to Sweden for good in 2013 and died in his home town.
