Bright, bouncy, bubbly blonde actress, dancer and singer who had a couple of moderately successful tries at Hollywood stardom, but enjoyed her greatest triumphs as a Charleston-dancing nightclub entertainer in a TV series, The Roaring Twenties. She had made her debut in the title role of The Bonnie Parker Story in 1958, followed by other teen rebel roles. After her TV success, she made further film appearances in It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (1963), Good Neighbor Sam (1964), The Great Race (1965) and Never a Dull Moment, (1967), her last. Married to English director Robert Day since 1968, she died from emphysema.
