Died - 18 June 2016

Narrow-featured, dark-haired actress and singer of porcelain complexion, remembered by horror fans as the leading lady in Fog Island (1945). It was one of her last roles before she retired to marry producer Edward Nassour. They had four children, but he died in 1962, and she returned to radio and TV work. Born Rhodanelle Rader, the actress's other film credits include A Gentleman After Dark (1942), Wedtime Stories (1943), Take It Big (1944), The Navy Way (1944) and Our Hearts Were Growing Up (1946). Much later, she had small roles in Pretty Maids All in a Row (1971) and the TV movies The Daughters of Joshua Cabe (1972) and Jimmy B & Andre (1980), her last.
