Otherwise, her unfulfilled career consisted of chorus girls and minor roles: The Corsican Brothers (1941), It Started With Eve (1941), My Gal Sal (1942), The Hard Way (1942), Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943), The North Star (1943), Lady in the Dark (1944), Billy Rose's Diamond Horseshoe (1945), Bury Me Dead (1947), I, Jane Doe/Diary of a Bride (1948), Caught (1949) and Federal Agent at Large (1950), her last. Born Sonia Paskowitz of Polish parents, she died from natural causes. Mother of child actor and later successful restaurateur Mason Reese, the youngest of her four children.
