Boyishly handsome, dark-haired American leading actor, mostly on TV, who died suddenly at 50. Between 1996 and 2016, he appeared in more than 1150 episodes of the daytime TV soap General Hospital. Born Tyler Christopher Baker, his occasional films included Common Bonds (1997), Catfish in Black Bean Sauce (1999), Face the Music (2001), Out of the Black (2001), Frogmen - Operation Stormbringer (2002), Raven (2009), Shouting Secrets (2011), Beyond the Lights (2014), Pretty Broken (2017), Max Winslow and the House of Secrets (2019), Thor: God of Thunder (2022), Murder, Anyone? (2022) and Ice Storm (2023), his last. He died from suffocation after acute intoxication; actress Eva Longoria was the first of his two wives.
