Dark-haired, dark-eyed, snub-nosed French actress with full lower lip, starring in continental westerns and action films. Sometimes seen as native American maidens, notably the sister of running character Winnetou, she made her debut as a teenager in Mitsou (1956), subsequently appearing in British and American films before returning to the Continent: A Tale of Two Cities (1958), Britannicus (1959), Jack of Spades (1960), Paris Blues (1961), The Black, White and Red Four-Poster (1962), The Young Racers (1963), Winnetou the Warrior/Apache Gold (1963), Temple of the White Elephant (1964), Kingdom of the Silver Lion (1965), Is Paris Burning? (1966), The Brides of Fu Manchu (1966), Winnetou and Old Firehand (1967), Code Name Kill (1968), Olympia - Olympia (1971), Inferno (1973), La Foire (1977), Jeans Tonic (1984), Winnetou - The Last Battle (2016) and What Makes Women Tick (2020), her last. She married writer-director Pierre Viallet; he died in 2013.
