Tall, balding, affable, beefy American character actor, sometimes seen with bushy moustache, the main part of whose career was in voiceover work for cartoon features and videos. Film appearances in front of the camera include those in The First Nudie Musical (1976), Carbon Copy (1980), Pennies from Heaven (1981), The Sword and the Sorcerer (1982), The Concrete Jungle (1982), Wild Wind (1985), Murphy's Law (1986), Jackals (1986), The Wild Pair (1987), House II: The Horror Show (1989), Defending Your Life (1991), Some Gave All (2010) and The Listener (2016), his last. Survived by his wife and six children, he died from heart-related causes.
