French character actor with thinning dark hair, quizzical features and a vague resemblance to Charles Aznavour. The son of actors Pierre Brasseur and Odile Joyeux, he was also a competitive skier, enthusiastic parachutist and rally driver. Born Claude Espinasse, he adopted his father's stage name, and was in films at 20: Rencontre a Paris (1956), Eyes Without a Face (1960), Please, Not Now!
