Curvaceous, dark-haired, Serbian-born actress who, after films in Serbia and Germany, moved to Britain and played decorative leading roles in 'B' features, as well as two sexy cameos in James Bond films. Born Nadezda Poderegin of Ukrainian parentage, she made a few films as a teenager before winning a BA at Belgrade's Academy of Dramatic Arts and re-entering films in featured roles: The Factory Story (1949), The Magic Sword (1950), Frosina (1951), The House on the Coast (1954), Dr M (1955), Der Frontgockel (1956), The Man Without a Body (1957), Don't Panic Chaps (1959), We Will Never Be Parted (1960), Number Six (1962), Solo for Sparrow (1962), Stranglehold (1963), From Russia With Love (1963), Runaway Killer (1964),Goldfinger (1964) and Downfall (1964), her last before a little TV work and then moving behind the scenes as a script consultant and occasional book writer. She died following a hospital endoscopy procedure.
