Films include Three Days of the Condor (1974), Resurrection (1978), Continental Divide (1981), The Escape Artist (1982), Sixteen Candles (1984), The Trip to Bountiful (1985), Gardens of Stone (1987), Coyote Mountain (1988), Night Game (1989), Convicts (1991), Blessing (1994), Judy Berlin (1999), West of Here (2001), Lost Junction (2003) and Whiskey School (2005), her last. The mother of actress Mary Stuart Masterson, she died from lung cancer.
