Thin-faced, bearded, snub-nosed American actor with a penchant for appearing in horror films and a passing resemblance to UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn. A former priest and social worker, he entered films in his late forties after stage experience: Knightriders (1981), Creepshow (1982), Lady Beware (1986), The Kid Brother (1987), Dominick and Eugene (1988), Heartstopper (1989), Two Evil Eyes (1990), Bob Roberts (1992), The Cemetery Club (1993), Houseguest (1995), Diabolique (1996), Wonder Boys (2000), The Bread, My Sweet (2001), Graduation (2006), My Bloody Valentine (2008), Deadtime Stories Vol.1 (2009), Love & Other Drugs (2010), Super 8 (2011), Riddle (2013), All Saints Eve (2013), Kantemir (2015) and A Fancy Piece of Homicide (2017), his last. He also remained a staunch stage artist to the end. Bingo was his real name.
