Jerry Tucker

Child actor

Born - 1 November 1925, Chicago, Illinois, USA
Died - 23 November 2016

Full-faced, light-haired American child player of the early sound years. Of slightly superior expression, he was often seen in snooty or overbearing roles. His career did not progress beyond his teenage years: after war service with the US Navy, he left acting and became an executive with RCA. Born Jerome Schatz, his feature films included Sidewalks of New York (1931), Blonde Venus (1932), Prosperity (1932), Murders in the Zoo (1933), Torch Singer (1933), Babes in Toyland (1934), Smart Girl (1935), Anything Goes (1936), Captain January (1936), Wells Fargo (1937), Reckless Living (1938), Federal Man-Hunt (1938), The Man Who Dared (1939) and Always Tomorrow (1941), his last. He died from natural causes.
