Sue Bernard

Born - 11 February 1948, Los Angeles, California, USA
Died - 21 June 2019

Dark-haired, round-faced, perennially young-looking glamour model (A Playboy Playmate of the Month at 18) who had a brief acting career in sexy roles, and later dedicated herself to the memory of her father, 'photographer to the stars' Bruno Bernard; two of her seven books concerned his work. She made her film debut at 17, almost inevitably in a film by sex-movie king Russ Meyer, Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill! (1965). Later, there were appearances in Stranger in Hollywood (1968), The Witchmaker (1969), That Tender Touch (1969), The Phynx (1970), Machismo: 40 Graves for 40 Guns (1971), Necromancy (1972), The Killing Kind (1973) and, much later, The Mao Game (1999). She died from a heart attack.
