Lovely raven-haired (sometimes a deep copper) actress, dancer and pin-up, the younger sister of actresses Teala Loring and Debra Paget. Born Leslie Gaye Griffin, she followed her siblings into films in the 1950s with a contract at Universal-International, for whom she played some 'bit' roles but also leads in 'B' pictures: the Glenn Miller Story (1954), Yankee Pasha (1954), Drums Across the River (1954, her first lead), Ain't Misbehavin' (1955), Rock Around the Clock (1956), Shake, Rattle and Rock! (1956) and Ten Thousand Bedrooms (1957), then much TV until Night of Evil (1961), Face of Terror (1962), Castle of Evil (1966) and The Violent Ones (1967), her last. She married and retired, but her husband died in 1977.
