Stars: Nichola Burley, Kerrie Hayes, Jamie Doyle

Director: Lindy Heymann

Rising Brit star Burley must be glad this film, made two years ago, is being released after her huge personal hit with StreetDance 3D and not before it. She plays one of two Merseyside teenage girls who conceive a huge crush on a young and handsome Liverpool soccer star.

Spying on him during training, they fortuitously come across him leaving a nightclub and persuade him to come with them to their trailer. Here things don't work out the way they expect - though it's never clear what they do expect - and their illusions are soon shattered.

Slow and soporific, even at such a short running time, the film has decent performances but no real reason for existing. Like its two girls, the film is a tease, never fulfilling any expectations and appealing to neither one kind of audience nor another.
