Capitalism: A Love Story
Stars: Michael Moore
Director: Michael Moore
Probably the least effective to date of Moore's tirades against the establishment, this droning documentary looks at how the banks of America robbed the poor to feed themselves and their cronies in the American Senate.
As usual, Moore is damning of the Bush regime and hopeful of Obama's, while also railing at what Ronald Reagan called 'the systematic dismantling of America's industrial infrastructure.'
Only of marginal interest to British audiences, the film loses itself and its arguments in a mass of prices and figures, and would better slightly shortened, and divided into two for showing on late-night TV,
