Static, virtually plotless film about the state of human relationships, with improvised dialogue by the cast. There's not much to say about the results, except that the film certainly is one of a kind, and a minority audience could find it rewarding.
The characters involved have assembled at a holiday home in Corfu to discuss the attitudes of the three women playing the main character in a new play at various stages of her life. The 'older' woman is played by Lydia (Mottram), whose aged husband Dan (Goody) has written the thing (I think).
Very little happens, although some kind of conclusion is eventually reached, and the widescreen photography of the island (by David Scott) is undeniably pretty. The ad-lib dialogue, however, includes such gems as: 'I love the emptiness between the mountains'. No, give me The Durrells any day.
