The youngsters I sent to this gaudy animated science-fiction adventure loved it. Accompanying adults, however, were rather less thrilled.

Which is what a kidflick should be.

The science fiction extravaganza on offer finds Our Titular Heroes boldly going where every science adventurers have gone before to prevent evil Chairman Drek from destroying all known planets in the galaxy.

Not while there’s a brave mechanic and his robot pal ready to play champions.

Bright, breezy and rather noisy (perhaps preventing grown-ups from getting some sleep?) science-fiction shenanigans, while possibly its most interesting aspect for moviegoers might be the star names behind the brightly drawn characters.
